WBCS (West Bengal Civil Service) COACHING

Here the students are groomed for primarily West Bengal Civil Services Examination (WBCS). But the methodology and the curriculum are such that it covers coaching for other State and Central level competitive examinations
Though the format of WBCS examination is divided into the Preliminary Examination, the Main Examination and the Personal Interview, RICE does not coach its students based on the exam format.
The total course is covered in 2 years. The syllabus is covered in the first year itself. The second year is wholly dedicated to focused preparation for the examination.
The whole course is divided into 12 modules and every month, one particular module is covered. Semester exams are held every 6 months. Therefore, the total course is divided into 4 semesters.
The classes are held for 4 days a week, with 4 classes per day of one-and-half hour duration for each class.
Exclusively through classroom coaching. There is no distance learning module. Class tests are held after completion of every chapter. Every Friday there is a test on the topics taught during the week. Every month an exam is held on the module that has been completed. There is a 100 marks exam called Mission Hundred.
